Chapter One Wake up in a dark world

I opened my eyes, found myself in a small room. A white girl was looking down to my face with her big brown eyes, murmuring something to herself. Seeing me wake up, a surprised and released expression appeared on her face. Then she started to do something on my body, extremely carefully and softly, as a mom wraps her new – born baby.
Where am I? Where is my daughter? Why am I with this big- eye girl? Who is she? “Hello!” I said. She did not response, keeping on doing her work. “Hello!” I yielded. She still did not response, and I did not hear myself either. I tried to move arms and hands, and was not able to; I tried to move my legs, and was not able to; I tried to move my head, and was not able to. My whole body was so heavy as a rock status.
What happened to me? How about my daughter? I looked into the window, and between the milky blinds was the darkness as ink and quietness as death. My body was overwhelmed by pain and my mind was full of fear. What can I do? What can I do? Looking at the ceiling, my vision became blurry and blurry………
My spirit was flying high above dark mountains, and sky was like a huge tent above me. The east side was pale yellow, and the rest was dark blue, not a trace of cloud. The stars were like grates randomly spread out. It was so quite, as all the living things were in deep sleep, soundless, and windless. Where is Jesus? I was supposed to be near him. My spirit was searching for him around. Suddenly, several big beasts flew from far west with huge black wings with thrilling roar. Obviously they saw me and came directly to me. Hurry up, otherwise they would catch me and take me to the hell, I said to myself. I slid down into the valleys of the mountains, playing hiding-seeking games with those beasts through the forests. Finally, I landed at the door of a huge one-floor cement building at the foot of a mountain. Inside the building was empty, cold and dark, and at the far end of the building was the other door. Dim light shot in through the two doors. I walked into the building quietly and squeezed my body into the space between a column and the wall at a corner. A couple of minutes later, the beasts flew in through the other door, searching and roaring. They were approaching me, and I could see clearly their face and wings, which looked like bats’. One beast saw me and dragged my hand really hard, and I struggled and held on the column with all my strength, crying and shouting at him “No! No! I am not going to go with you. Leave me alone!” They roared and rushed out of the door. I run out of the building, crying and starting to climb the mountain in the darkness…
“Do you think she could survive or not?” a girl whispered.
“Her injuries were so serious, I cannot say for sure. Pray for her if you are worrying about her.” A boy said.
In a dark night, I heard the conversation at my bed. Are they talking about me? Am I dying? I lost conscience again.

“Please stop biting the tube, stop!” The voice of a mid-age black man came to me. He was walking around to move some things close to my bed. He was a very friendly looking tall man, and one of the two people I had seen in this room. I looked back to him very friendly, “no matter what is going to happen, three of us are going to deal with it together.” I was thinking.
“The incubation tube is crucial for their breading, unfortunately, most patients always bite it.” He said to the big brown-eye girl.
Then he seat next to my bed, doing something to my tube. “It hurts.” I screamed, and I struggled, trying to move my head away and twisting my body. Soon I realized I could not move any part of my body except my teeth and eyes. I looked at him, stressful, angry, and frustrated. “Why are you hurting me?” I asked him. He did not response, keeping on doing his job.
Dou, dou, dou… I bite the tube as rebellion to him.
“Stop biting the tube. You are hurting yourself.” He warned me.
“Dou, dou, dou…” I kept on biting, and gradually fell into a nightmare.
I was running on a slippery muddy trail between rice fields with naked feet in a chilly raining night, falling to the ground once in a while. Several men were trying to catch me. Raining water mixed with my tear run down my face, hair stuck to my face, and clothes stuck to my body. The chasers were closer and closer, and their shouting scared me so much that I run as a rabbit chased by hunting dogs. At the end of the trail was a hill of palm tree woods, I shrank my body as small as possible, and then hide under the bark of a palm tree. The chasers searched through the woods and discussed the possible place I might hide, while their hunting dogs smelled here and there, tip of noses almost touching me. The dogs’ breath blew air towards to me to scare me to death.
I was taken by the chasers back to medical people, who dragged me to a dark room and tied me to a column. When I saw a tray of knifes was brought in, I knew a terrible torture would start soon, I stood still in the darkness, waiting to see how I was going to die. Several tall serious doctors in white suites walked in after a while, and began to slice muscles off my legs, arms and body. “It hurts, oh, it hurts so bad. Please don’t cut me, please!”, I screamed the beg, and was not answered. I hated them, I would not collaborate with them any more, no, I said to myself.
