Frequently the wood are pink -
Frequently are brown.
Frequently the hills undress
Behind my native town.
Oft a head is crested
I was wont to see -
And as oft a cranny
Where it used to be -
And the Earth - they tell me -
On its Axis turned!
Wonderful Rotation!
By but twelve performed!

時不時，林子呈粉色
時不時，又呈棕色。
時不時，山丘就寬衣解帶
就在我長大的小鎮背後。
時不時，還帶上頭飾
如我看慣了的 -
或者那條裂縫
還在原地 -
好像地球 － 他們想告訴我 －
