Waiting

The leisure day is slow
counting on someone else's battle from Ryder Cup on TV
It is also long when your dream needs time
to warm into and to nurture sweets
The sweet smell still lives in the room
as vividly as spring flowers
where I could settle down my anxiety
Promised I would be very patient this winter
because I know it will be warm and cozy
in our house of hearts
