My Night till your Dawn

I could see
once party lasted for nearly the whole day
or playing cards or busy running around
or occupied by the church
our mind would be sucked into the tiredness
I could see a few bright stars in Christmas night sky
perhaps the Aries or whole bunch of other
constellations I could not name
Perhaps you could see lot more
away from the city in wildness
perhaps a few shooting stars
that we both dreamed of
whistle through the sky
as if they are cheering for our connection
even thousand miles away
I didn't see the half moon as predicted
perhaps it is not coming up until the morning
It would be time for you to get up early again
and ready to start another trip somewhere
Perhaps you are happy to sing the moonlight song
in your heart
to serve as my alarm
to wake me up with a smile
