The Elevator

We took a loop in the airport
looking for a small ticket counter off the main ticket floor

There is one elevator right at the starting point of the loop
with granite floor badly cracked perhaps by some frustrated passengers
Only if it had a robot in the elevator to give directions
It is a great exercise for sure even without AC in a cool autumn morning

I came back from outside, away from the long corridor
ran into the very elevator third time within half an hour
The mended cracks almost served as toeprints
that are too unique enough to be missed
until someone replaces the damaged floor
in the elevator
