Thoughts

I tried to stop the train of thoughts
it ran faster than the metro rail I was on

The loud noises of the rail tried to tear apart the thoughts
they ran away with a river somewhere more tender

I tried then to mesmerize the thoughts
they came back dancing and singing like in some carnival

I could not blank them out with the darkness of night
I could not blanket them with the snow white

Woke up from awe after the train suddenly stopped
and I finally was able to walk out the dream of thoughts
