Southland Leisure Center

Today I went to the Southland Leisure Center. It all started when my brother woke me up from bed whenstill sleeping! Then we had a good breakfast of toast with Nutella. It was delicious! After breakfast wehad to do our homework because we would go to the Southland Leisure Center with our new friends at 12:00.When we were done our homework we had to have lunch before we could go to play. We had to eat noodlesfor lunch. It was not bad or good. and But it took me a long time to eat it since I didn't like noodles and soon it was already 12:40! My brother packed up his swimsuit, goggles, and towel while I was waiting. When I was done eating I packed up and we went to the Southland Leisure Center. This time my parents wouldn't go in the swimming pool, they would just watch us and talk with our new friends' mom. It took about 20 minutes to get there since we lived in the NW and it was in the SW. When we arrived it was already 1:00! I think my friends already arrived! We had to pay to go in the swimming pool. (obviously) But each child was only 5.00$ so altogether it was only 10.00$! After we paid I led my little brother to the men's change room to change to our swimsuits and goggles. When we were done changing we tooka shower since it was against the law. Then my mom and dad found my new friends' mom and shesaid that they already arrived at 12:00! She also said that our new friend's brother was sick so we didn'tget to meet him. Me and my brother went to find our friend. My brother knew what he looked like because he met him once.Soon we found him and started playing in the wave pool. The cool thing about the wave pool is thatonce in a while waves start forming and they crash into you. Me and my friend played volleyball in thewave pool. It was hard because the waves would always move me and the ball. My brother was swimmingunderwater while he was waiting. Soon we got bored of the wave pool and started going on the playground that was actually in the water!My friend said it was boring but that didn't convince me and my brother. When we went on we saw lots of water traps for people that were walking below. I actually sprayed some people with water without people noticing. There were also waterslides. They were really fun! One cool thing about the playground isthat once in a while a big bucket of water in the air pours lots of water on us! But I kept losing my friendand my little brother because my friend always went in the steam room and my brother kept going on thebig red waterslide. When I found my little brother, I asked him what our new friend's name was and he said it was Amy. So I kept calling my friend that and he got confused. When I got in the steam room it was so warm. Soonmy friend asked why I was calling him Amy and I said that my brother told me and I told my brother tosay sorry. Then my friend told me that his name was really Harrison. I got really hot and some wet stuffwas dripping down my face. I asked Harrison if it was water. He said no. I asked Harrison if it was sweat.He said no. Finally he told me that it was steam. How klutzy of I, it was the steam room!Then Harrison had to go and we said good-bye. My little brother and I then played in the wave pool again.Soon I wanted to give the red waterslide a try and my brother talked about how it was so good. At thetop of the waterslide there is a green light and a red light, you can only go when it is a green light. IT WAS SO FUN!!! I kept going on it until I felt tired. I went to ask my mom if I could have a snack and shesaid yes. But she only gave me 4.30$. So I only bought a medium box of fries and some fresh baked cookiesfor me and my little brother to eat. I went to call my little brother when I ordered everything. Finally he came and we ate. It was scrumptious!Soon my mom said that she would buy us some Pepsi for us to drink. When we were done eating and drinking we went back to the swimming pool. I went in the wave pool, but my brother kept going on the waterslide.Then we had to go but my brother said that he wanted to go on the waterslide once more. Soon I got reallymad because it took him so long and I went to check him. Then I figured out that he went on the waterslide 3 times! I tried to pull him to the change room but he kept trying to go to the waterslide. Finally I got anidea and said that we were going to leave him there. And that did the trick!We changed into our normal clothes. But when I put my key to my locker it wouldn't unlock. Kevin forgot to lock his so he was already changing. I followed the instructions and I was right. Soon I figured out thatI didn't put the key in hard enough. I put it the hardest I can then I turned it right, and sure enough it opened! My brother waited for me and I finally finished changing. We went out the change room and went to find our parents. Soon we found them and we went back home.P.S: I am deciding to have a birthday party here!2009-12-22
