A little preventive tire care makes it easy to mantain proper vehicle control and safety throughout the spring ang summer.It will help you get the longest possible life out of your tire,too.

CHECK UR AIR PRESSURE:The simplest and most important aspect of proper tire maintenance is correct air pressure.over or under inflated tires result in irregular wear,lack of proper vechicle control,poorfuel economy,mushy steering and even tire failure.

the proper tire pressure settings for your vechicle can be found on the driver's door post,glove box lid or in the owner's manual.As a rule,tires have a natural tendency to lose about one pound per square inch(psi)each month.As well, for every 5C change in air temperature,tire pressure changes about one psi.

Expert suggest you check the  tire pressure every 4 to 6 weeks.(buy a tire pressure gauge-the one on the service station air hose is rarely accurate.) Tire pressure settings are cold settings,so check your tires first thing is in the moring b4 you drive more than a few kms.U may be surprised how far off they are. Set them and you're done for another 4 to 6weeks.
