英文詩歌習作：4-Line stanza--七絕：(中英文兩寫)

4-Line Stanza--My Snoring

M'Lady complained this morning of my snoring.
I said I have heared absolutely nothing.
When in a proper sleep every night,
I am so far the most innocent being.

七絕--鼻息

說吾鼻響息如雷，
我卻未聞風鼓捶。
閉眼一宵魂魄外，
夢中難辨誰是誰。

說明：再試用英文寫詩。上次試寫sonnet，過於勉強。最近在網友李唐處學習沙士比亞的大作，收益匪淺。但沙氏的sonnet的確古典高雅，在下水平有限，學起來，難度很大。對初學者來說，篇幅也過長。

其實英文詩歌也是形式多樣，甚至接受了日本和中亞來的詩歌形式。本人對中文詩歌形式還知一二，絕句是最簡單的形式，便於掌握。在英文就可以是四行詩(4-Line stanza，專門有個怪怪的名字)，每行中大致保證是pentameter，即2X5個音節。排韻，則如中文絕句，為AABA。這次，就以此形式試驗一下。

文學城的網友大都在海外，多數在英語國家，很遺憾本人不是。既然日本人可以把他們的詩歌形式推廣到了歐美文學中，為什麽我們不可以把我們最簡單的絕句形式進行一下推廣和複興呢？希望有興趣的網友也試試。在下很高興拋磚引玉。

為了加強兩種語言的學習，還寫了一個故事相同的七絕，一並見笑大家。

The whole purpose of my writing is: try to be funny in its own way. When I write in Chinese or English, I do not quite care about what I have said or will say in the other language. Still, I think I have told the same story in both.

Yes, translation. I have done a lot before, books, articles, so on and so forth. It has been a some sort of job. One day, I lost it. It is very sad, indeed. But, when looking on the bright side, I decided since then that I would do something more creative. Therefore, I began to write poems. "Poiema" in ancient Greek, means "making and creating things and ideas". So does it still now.

As per your Chiese version, I tried a four-line AABB:

Being complained I snore during the night,
Yet I have never noticed such a vice.
Once I shut eyelids and dreams come to me,
It was hard for me to tell who was in.
