【惠蘭的翻譯】《一樣的海》譯者的話及《聖經》相關文字

《一樣的海》充滿對《聖經》，猶太教徒寫作以及現代西伯來著作的引喻。定義和找出所有這些引喻對於閱讀並不十分重要，我感到按所有意思做出注釋會妨礙讀者的閱讀享受，但我在這裏提供一些反複出現的《聖經》引喻作為參考，特別是那些看起來一頭霧水的部分。那最常見的引喻，頻繁出現又似曾相識的，是大衛的故事，出現在《撒姆耳記》的一、二章和《大衛王》第一章的開篇。那兩個短文，《雅歌》（或者叫《所羅門之歌》）和《傳道書》，同樣被影射到，就像《聖詩》和《約伯記》，都在下麵特別的韻文之中（引於聖經·英文欽定本）。

 注：

《一樣的海》出版時，書的正文之後，與《聖經》相關部分，出版社將采用李振中譯本。

這裏把我本人的譯本放在博客，作為個人資料保存 （同時附李振中譯本和英文版本）。

Song of Songs

1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes.

2:7 …by the rose, and by the the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

2:9 My beloeved is like a roe or a young hart:behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.

2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.

5:1 I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey;I have drunk my wine with my milk…

8:7      如果一個人能為愛奉獻一切，那這樣的愛決不可輕視：再多的水也不

8:7     愛情、大水不能息滅，洪流不能淹沒；若有人拿家裏所有的財產要換取愛情

會絕對受鄙視。

 

Ecclesiastes

1:2  Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

1:3  What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

1:4  One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth

 abideth for ever.

1:5  The sun also riseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he

 arose.

1:6   The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth

about continually, and the wind returneth again accordding to his circuits.

    1：2     空虛的空虛，那布道者說，空虛的空虛；全都是空虛。

1：3     一個人在太陽下所有的辛勤勞動，能給他帶來什麽

益處呢？

1：4     一個時代過去，另一個時代到來：

但大地永存。

1：5     太陽同樣升起，太陽又下山了，匆匆回歸

它升起的地方。

1：6     風向南吹，又轉向北；

它不停地卷著，按照來時的環型軌跡，

回到原地。

1：7     所有的河流都匯入大海；可大海從來不會滿；從河流

湧來的地方，它們重新回歸。

1：8     所有的東西都充滿勞動；人不能如此說：那眼睛

不滿足它所看到的，那耳朵不滿足它所聽到的。

1：9     已經有過的事，將來還會有；已經做過的，

將來還會做：太陽之下，沒有一件事

是新的。

11：7    那光真是甜蜜啊，用眼睛看著太陽，是件

愉悅的事。

11：8    如果一個人活了很多年，並很快樂地度過了所有時光；

還要讓他記住那些黑暗的日子；黑暗的日子會有很多。

繼之而來的是空虛。

 

《傳道書》李振中譯本

 

1：2    傳道人說∶虛空之虛空！虛空之虛空！萬事都虛空！

        1：3   人的一切勞碌、他在日光之下所勞碌的、有什麽益處？

1：4   一代在過去，一代又到來，地卻永遠存立。

1:5    日出，日落，喘噓噓地跑回它所由出之地。

1:6    風往南刮，又向北轉；不住地旋轉，又循其旋轉道返回原處。

1:7    溪河都往海裏流，海卻沒有滿溢；溪河流到哪一個地方，還再

流到那裏。

1:8   萬物（或譯∶萬事都有）都疲勞困乏；人也不能說得盡；眼看，

看不飽，耳聽、聽不足。

1:9   必有的事、是曾經有的；必行的事、是曾經行過的∶日光之下並

無新事。

11：7   光乃是美妙的；眼見日光就感到愉快。  

11：8   人若活了許多年日，讓他盡在許多年日中快樂吧；不過他要記得、將來會有黑暗的日子，而且這種日子將會很多。將要來的都是虛空。 

 

 

Psalms

42:1  As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after

Job

1:21  Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return

thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taketh away; blessed be

《約伯記》惠蘭譯本

 

1：21    我從母親的子宮赤裸著來到世上，我將赤祼地回到那裏：主給我

漢娜詩(惠蘭譯，英文略)：

 

對《新約》的引喻很多與《福音》有關。在很多聖經後的希伯來文獻中，我隻選擇一個看起來最有關聯的。它是漢娜(1890-1931)寫的一首詩：

 

隻有我自己知道怎樣表達，

我的世界像螞蟻般渺小，

我身負的重擔像隻螞蟻的，

對我脆弱的肩膀來說太大太重。

 

我生命的路也一樣——像螞蟻上樹梢——

是條充滿勞累和痛苦的路，

一隻巨大的手，自信而惡毒的，

嘲笑的手遮蓋全部。

 

我所有的路，因這隻大手的不停的恐懼

用淒慘和眼淚鋪成。

你為什麽呼喚我，令人驚異的海岸？

你為什麽對我撒慌，遠處的燈光？
