每個人都有自己的人生夢想，有人想成為金融家，有人想成為企業家，有人想成為一名醫生；我卻想成為一名出色的畫家，讓我的畫打動人心，讓人們的精神世界充滿陽光。許多朋友對我的夢想感到吃驚。自古以來，在人們的心目中，畫家都是窮困潦倒的;畫家的富有，往往是他過世以後，他的作品才變得有價值。這就是我想追求的無限藝術生命的價值。這也許是中學時代《鋼鐵是怎樣練成的》一本書對我的影響。
雖然我的藝術生涯並不很長，但是我的藝術意識從兒童時期已在萌芽，我父母說：“小時候，我們帶你上街，你看見漂亮東西就要買，否則就哭”。實際上，當我長大了，我還是一樣，看見色彩絢麗和造型好的東西我就喜歡買。無論到哪個城市，我首選參觀的就是藝術館和古董收藏。
然而，我的藝術生涯是曲折的，我生不逢時，正處於“文革”時代，可以說“夭折”了。我當過“知青”，雖然比一些人幸運，二年後就保送到護士學校學習。畢業後在醫院當了幾年“白衣天使”，但這不是我人生的夢想，我繼續努力深造中國文學，在《花城》報刊發表過文學評論，後來在暨南大學統戰部任秘書。1989年正遇上“出國熱”，我就到了澳洲悉尼學習，選擇了與藝術有關的時裝設計，這才有機會發揮我的藝術才能。
澳洲是風景如畫的國家，西方文化藝術氣氛比較濃鬱，是藝術的溫床之地。1995年我走進北悉尼的皇家藝術學校學習寫生素描，受到老師讚揚，給了我的信心。後來又到國立藝術學院深造，遇上澳洲的名畫家Ken done 和國立藝術學院的教授 Roger crawford 他們肯定了我的藝術才能，鼓勵我尋找藝術館展示自己的作品，所以我很大膽地把自己的作品拿到雲峰畫苑，讓郭浩滿和郭浩明先生指教，我聽取了他們的意見，不斷努力，終於在2013年7月，廣東雲峰畫苑為我舉辦個人畫展。
“你為什麽轉向藝術？”這是許多人向我提的問題。我也經常發問自己，藝術道路是艱苦而又漫長的，我是否能走下去？然而，也有成功的藝術家，為什麽我不可以成為其中的一個呢？
我喜歡畫海上的日出。每當我站在海邊，看著太陽移動而引起顏色的變化，我的視覺中樞就興奮起來，我的心就象太陽升起，越來越明亮。浩瀚的大海，金波浪湧，把我心中的塵埃都衝走了。生命中的元氣往上升，使我對生活充滿希望。
我喜歡澳洲的動物，畫了不少唐鵝、笑鳥、鸚鵡，因為它們具有人性相似的地方，也有超越人性的特點，它們能自由飛翔，它們的夫妻關係比較牢固，廝守在一起，成雙成對的。西方人喜歡用白色的羽毛作為結婚的吉祥飾物。
我喜歡澳洲的大自然，風景如畫，天然雕作，這一切都給我帶來創作靈感。
我在藝術創作過程中，深深理解“天人相應”的中醫理論和著名的心理學家和精神學家佛洛依德“潛意識與有意識”的精神學理論。是的，人越接近大自然，疾病就會減少。人的潛意識與有意識的位置隨著你內心的情感強弱而改變的，藝術是可以改變觀念。
作畫與看畫都是非常好的養生療法，是平衡大腦與心靈最好的方法。
在現代社會中，競爭激烈。藝術是最好的調節情緒的良藥。
我在澳洲生活了20多年，我把自己的感受和思想的沉澱放在畫麵上。近十年，我創作了200多幅畫，其中有60多幅在這本畫集上。
我期望我的畫能打動人的心靈，給人們的精神上帶來愉快。
我非常感謝藝術界的前輩對我的支持與鼓勵，特別是澳洲的著名畫家Ken done 、Roger Crawford、雲峰畫苑董事長郭浩滿、總經理郭浩明、廣東省著名畫家許固令、廣州電視台文藝節目總導演張曉菲、澳洲新報編輯張奧列及香港中醫藥管理委員會中醫組主席張大釗教授；前任暨南大學醫學院副院長、華僑醫院院長。

澳洲女畫家張燕芬以她獨有的視覺和個性化的色彩，強烈地表現出一種對於大自然的崇敬，人與自然，動物與自然，生態的變幻，都為她的創作與描繪提供了心理衝動。我們在《日出》、《珍稀鳥類》和《澳洲風光》三個係列油畫作品中感受到作者虔誠的藝術追求以及自然而然的，時而粗獷時而細膩的表達方式。盡管作品的造境和技法運用未臻成熟，但可以預見的是，她來自心底的自由的並非功利的創作，無疑能夠更感人地顯現出對大自然的情懷是如此深沉與感性，空氣中不著塵埃，生命呼吸的律動，不正訴說著畫家的情懷麽！這就是以使之排除生活雜念，讓創作更加完美。

Everyone has their own dreams in life, someone wants to become a financier, someone wants to become an entrepreneur, someone wants to become a doctor; but I want to become a great painter, so my paintings impress people, so that people's spiritual world full of sunshine. The auspicious ornaments of many of my friends were surprised. Since ancient times, in people's minds, artists are impoverished; painter's rich, often after his death, his works before they become valuable. Although my artistic career is not very long, but my artistic consciousness in the bud from childhood, my parents, said: "As a girl, we take you to the streets, you see beautiful things to buy, or cry." In fact, when I grow up, I still like to see good things colorful and styling I would like to buy. No matter which city, I preferred to visit art galleries and antique collection is.
However, my artistic career is tortuous, my untimely, is in the "Cultural Revolution" era, you can say "died" the. I have been "educated youth", although fortunate than some people, two years after admission to nursing school. After graduating in the hospital for a few years "angels", but this is not the dream of my life, and I continue to work hard studies Chinese literature, in the "Flower City" newspaper published literary criticism, and later in the United Front Work Department of Jinan University, secretary. 1989 are having a "Going hot", I went to study in Sydney, Australia, chose fashion design and art-related, this has the opportunity to play my artistic talent.
Australia is a picturesque country, relatively rich artistic atmosphere of Western culture, is a hotbed of artistic ground. 1995 I walked into North Sydney Royal art school sketch sketching, praised by the teacher, and gave me confidence. And later went to National College of Arts graduate, met the Australian painter Ken done and the National College of Art professor Roger crawford they certainly my artistic talent and encouraged me to look for galleries to show their work, so I boldly put their works to get the Wan Fung Art Gallery, Ho Mun Kwok and Mr. Kwok Hao ming exhibitions, I listened to their advice, continuous efforts, and finally in July 2013, the Guangdong Wan Fung Art Gallery for my solo exhibition.
"Why did you turn to Art?" This is a lot of people ask me the question. I often ask myself, artistic path is arduous and lengthy, if I can go? However, there are successful artists, and why I do not become one of them?
I like to draw sea sunrise. Whenever I am standing on the beach, watching the sun moves and cause a color change, my visual center up on the excitement, my heart is like the sun rises, more and more bright. The vastness of the sea, Jump surge, put my mind is washed away the dust. The vigor of life to rise makes my life full of hope.
I like animals in Australia, drew a lot of Tang geese, laughing birds, parrots, because they have human similarities, there are also beyond the characteristics of human nature, they can fly freely, their marital relationship is strong, brought together, as Two paired. Westerners like to use white feathers as wedding auspicious ornaments.
I like Australia nature, picturesque, natural carved, all this bring me inspiration.
I'm in the process of artistic creation, deeply understand the "Heaven corresponding" Chinese medicine theory and the famous psychologist and psychiatrist Sigmund Freud, "the subconscious and conscious," the spirit of the theory. Yes, the people closer to nature, the disease will be reduced. The subconscious and conscious position with your inner strength and emotional changes, art can change the concept.
