This weekend is the perfect time to give thanks for everything that we have, including our family, friends, colleagues, work, home and health. As we reflect on everything that is good in our lives, let's focus our efforts in finding the good in people and situations instead of finding fault and being critical of others. On this Thanksgiving weekend, let's follow these tips to maintain a positive attitude in our daily interactions: Distinguish between what is urgent and what is important. Spend more time on activities that will provide long term benefits. Ask for what you want. Don't assume others know what you want or how you feel. Communicate your needs to others. Ask more questions. Instead of jumping to conclusions and making assumptions, find out the facts. Show empathy to others when they face difficult situations. Spend more time helping and supporting others.
