ISRO plans to send an Indian astronaut in space onboard a Russian mission in 2013 and follow it up with two Indian astronauts on a seven-day mission on an indigenously developed rocket in 2015. Indian space scientists now plan to conquer new frontiers by sending a robot on moon in 2012 and a spacecraft to Mars the following year, which will also see an Indian astronaut in space. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has lined up a slew of missions, which also include landing a spacecraft on an asteroid and sending a probe to fly past a comet. ISRO also plan to launch a sequel to Chandrayaan-I, which will entail landing a rover robot on moon by 2012. The lunar rover will be built in collaboration with Russia. The Chandrayaan II project is slated to land a small rover on the moon\'s surface and collect and analyze samples. ISRO, Indian Space Research Organization is now proud of its achievements. A commercial satellite built by the organization for the European satellite operator, Eutelsat, was successfully launched from French Guiana in South America.

印度2015年將發射載人航天器

新華網孟買１２月２６日電（記者 文建）印度空間研究組織日前宣布，印度將於２０１５年用自製火箭把２名印度宇航員送入太空，執行一個為期７天的載人航天任務。

印度空間研究組織主席奈爾２４日宣布了印度航天業的“新年規劃”。這一規劃還包括２０１２年把一個探月機器人送上月球表麵；２０１３年發射火星航天器。 他透露說，目前，發射火星航天器還處於“概念”階段，但２００９年將完成和確定具體計劃。談到載人航天項目時，奈爾說，印度正在班家羅爾建設航天員培訓中心。該中心將初選２００名符合條件的印度青年參加訓練，最後選定４人作為正式宇航員，其中２人將被送上太空。 ２００８年，印度政治遭遇諸多動蕩，全球金融危機又致使其經濟下滑，年底的孟買恐怖襲擊更是讓社會民眾對政府的信心降到低點。分析人士認為，從經濟層麵看，印度大力發展航天科技有望拉動相關下遊產業，從一定程度上緩解金融危機的影響；從政治層麵看，航天發展則可增加凝聚力，恢複民族信心。 ２００８年４月，印度發射一枚自行研製的極地衛星運載火箭，一舉把１０顆衛星分別送入軌道；１１月，印度“月船１號”所攜帶的月球撞擊探測器成功撞擊月球；１２月，印度為外國客戶製造的首顆衛星在法屬圭亞那庫魯航天發射中心成功發射升空。

新華網新德裏１２月２６日電 印度空間研究組織（ＩＳＲＯ）日前公布的宇宙探測計劃時間表顯示，印度計劃２０１３年把首位本國宇航員送上太空，２０１５年把載人飛船送往火星。

《印度日報》網站２４日報道，印度空間研究組織將從２０１２年至２０１５年展開一係列太空探測項目。根據時間表，印度計劃於２０１２年前實施“月球２號”項目，把一個探月機器人送上月球表麵采樣；２０１３年，首位印度宇航員將搭乘繞火星軌道飛行的俄羅斯飛船上天；２０１５年，印度計劃將搭載兩名本國宇航員的國產飛船送往火星，實施為期７天的火星之旅。此外，印度空間研究組織計劃登陸小行星及探測彗星。印度空間研究組織眼下正在科技城班加羅爾建造宇航員訓練基地，計劃在２０１５年前最終選拔出４名宇航員。
