什麽是政治？（譯文）

一個小男孩走到他爸爸跟前問道：“什麽是政治？”

他爸爸說：“好吧，兒子，讓我試著這麽來解釋：這個家是我掙錢養活的，那就把我叫做‘資本主義’；你媽媽，她管理錢財，我們就把她叫做‘政府’；我們一起來為你的需要服務，我們就把你叫做‘人民’；家裏的保姆，我們就把她看成是‘工人階級’；而你小弟弟呢，我們就把他叫做‘未來’。現在，想一想這麽講是不是有道理。”

小男孩離開後，到他的床上思考他爸爸剛才說過的那些話。

那天晚上的後半夜，他聽到他弟弟的哭聲，就起床去查看，看到弟弟的嬰兒尿片已經被大便弄得很髒了，就去他爸爸媽媽的房間，看到他媽媽正睡得很沉。他不想叫醒她，就去了保姆的房間，發現門是鎖著的，從鑰匙孔裏往裏一看，竟看到他爸爸在保姆的床上。他什麽也沒做就回去睡覺了。第二天早上，小男孩告訴他爸爸：“爸爸，我想我現在理解政治的含義了。”

他爸爸說：“好兒子，那就用你自己的話告訴我，你認為政治究竟是什麽。”

小男孩回答說：“政治啊，就是當資本主義正在奸淫工人階級的時候，政府在睡大覺，人民得不到關注，未來有臭哄哄的大便味。”

What Is Politics?

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now."

The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about."

The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep poo."
