問：年少時封閉、混亂的年代，對您影響最大的有哪些書或者電影？

答：我的童年沒有那麽封閉，因為我母親是上海譯製片廠的翻譯，所以我常常混雜在工作人員後麵，看到很多蘇聯電影。六十年代初，我上小學，暑假裏跟著母親去廠裏，我看到了“第四十一個”，當我看見紅軍女戰士打死了她深愛的白軍軍官的時候，我哭出了聲音，母親一把將我從放映間拉出去，恨不能扇我一巴掌，說：“跟你說好，坐在後麵不要發聲音，怎麽還敢哭！”我抽泣得說不出話來，傷心得一塌糊塗。那個場麵，幾乎就刻在我一生的記憶裏。

EditPeng was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. She underwent chemotherapy and her health temporarily recovered.^[17] She began writing a book about her father titled Four Seasons of Childhood, and planned to make it into a film.^[17] She also spent two years writing the book Editor Zhong Shuhe – A Documentary on Paper, about the publisher Zhong Shuhe (鍾叔河). However, her health deteriorated again in November 2018 before she was able to finish either project.^[17] She died on 19 June 2019 in Shanghai, at age 66.^[17][18]
