美西三周遊 3：拱石國家公園(Arches National Park)

拱石國家公園(Arches National Park; 猶他州)
 
在Arches國家公園玩了1.5天. 試了多條trail, 包括 Delicate Arch trail, North / South windows trail, Park Avenue trail, and Devil’s Garden trail (到達 Double-O arch). 在Devil’s Garden trail, 過了Landscape Arch後就很難得見到遊人. 此trail要翻越多個巨石, 其中一個魚鰭石(fin rock)有6, 7 米高, 150米(?)長, 頂部為弧狀; 若掉下去, 即便不摔死, Double-O arch是肯定見不著的了. Double-O arch本身無甚過人之處, 此trail卻是很有特點, 為Arches國家公園之最佳trail.

由於美國許多國家公園(Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, etc)無洗澡設施, 如果其附近有私營露營地則為首選(24 hour shower, swimming pool, close to dining, shopping). 我們選了離Arches國家公園幾邁的小鎮Moab 城中的 “Canyonlands Camp ground”; 畢竟一身臭汗是不好受的. 同樣情形的還有Bryce Canyon 國家公園 (camped at Ruby’s RV Park & Campground, only a few miles away), Zion 國家公園(forgot the name, 2 km away in Springdale).
試了一次Moab那家廣東餐館, 比較一般.
