一間房裏的八隻猴兒——一堂管理課

將八隻猴子趕在一間房中，房子子正中有個梯子，直衝著屋頂懸掛的一串香蕉。每當有猴子試圖爬梯子時，就用冰水將所有的猴子噴個透心兒涼。

很快，當再有猴子試圖爬梯子時，其它的猴兒因不想被冰水澆就全撲上去襲擊它，不久，再沒一隻猴兒膽敢爬梯子了。

將這8隻中的一隻帶走，換上一隻新猴兒，它看到那串香蕉和梯子，不知道為什麽沒猴兒去摘，管他三七二十一立刻衝上前去爬梯子，結果其它的猴子都撲上來，把它揍了個半死，它一點也不明白為什麽。不管怎樣，它可是不再做此企圖了！

再將原來猴子中的一隻換掉，新來的猴兒自然試圖爬梯子，其它的猴子又群起而攻之，將它揍得屁滾尿流，群猴中包括上次來的那個新猴兒，這次它慶幸挨打的不是它並且積極加入，因為大家都這麽幹，但它真不知道為什麽要痛扁那隻新猴兒。

就這樣，一隻接一隻，原來的八隻猴兒都被換掉了，現在房間裏的8隻猴兒都是新來的，它們中沒有任何一隻被冰水澆過，然而也沒有任何一隻試圖爬那梯子，而且全體猴子都會襲擊企圖爬梯子的新猴兒，即使不知道理由。

公司的規章製度就是如此確立的！

8 monkeys in a room !!! A g8 Management lesson

Put eight monkeys in a room. In the middle of the room is a ladder,
leading to a bunch of bananas hanging from a hook on the ceiling.

Each time a monkey tries to climb the ladder, all the monkeys are sprayed
with ice water, which makes them miserable.

Soon enough, whenever a monkey attempts to climb the ladder, all of the
other monkeys, not wanting to be sprayed, set upon him and beat him up.

Soon, none of the eight monkeys ever attempts to climb the ladder. One of
the original monkeys is then removed, and a new monkey is put in the room.
Seeing the bananas and the ladder, he wonders why none of the other monkeys
are doing the obvious. But undaunted, he immediately begins to climb the
ladder.

All the other monkeys fall upon him and beat him silly. He has no idea why.
However, he no longer attempts to climb the ladder. A second original monkey
is removed and replaced. The newcomer again attempts to climb the ladder,
but all the other monkeys hammer the crap out of him. This includes the
previous new monkey, who, grateful that he\'s not on the receiving end this
time, participates in the beating because all the other monkeys are doing
it.

However, he has no idea why he\'s attacking the new monkey. One by one, all
the original monkeys are replaced. Eight new monkeys are now in the room.
None of them have ever been sprayed by ice water. None of them attempt to
climb the ladder. All of them will enthusiastically beat up any new monkey
who tries, without having any idea why.
