譯古希臘女詩人薩福同性情詩二首 作者：Mild Storm

（一）
Aphrodite divine, enthroned in splendour,
Artful daughter of Zeus, I beg you,
May lady, slay not my spirit
With pain and grief.

But come to me now, if ever
My distant cries you once heard
And came, leaving your father’s
Hall, golden

Chariot yoked, while pretty sparrows
Brought you quickly over black earth,
Fluttering wings from heaven
Through the air, and

Quickly they appeared. Blessed one,
Your immortal face smiled,
You asked what was wrong this time,
Why I called you,

What my mad heart pined for most.
“Who is it now that needs charming
Back to your love; Sappho,
Who does you wrong?

“For she may run now, but soon she’ll be
after you.
If she takes no gifts, yet she will give.
And if now she loves you not, either way,
She will.”

Come to me even now, from sagging
Infatuation deliver me; fulfil all my spirit’s
Longings. Come,
Be my comrade.


超凡的阿芙羅狄蒂，高坐王位，光彩照人，
你是宙斯神的女兒，精明又機靈。
我求你，我尊貴的女士，
請不要用痛苦和悲傷，來屠戮我的靈魂。

現在就來吧，快到我這兒來，曾經
不也是，在你聽到我在遠處的哭聲
之後，金馬車便從你父親的宮殿
趕來，漂亮的燕子，拍打著翅膀，
帶著你，飛越黑色的大地，從天而降，

隻一會兒，就到了。 有福之人啊，
你不朽的麵龐笑了，
問我，這一回又是什麽事兒，
我叫你來是為什麽，

你又問，我瘋狂的心最渴求什麽。
“現在應該讓誰著魔，
讓她回到你的愛裏？ 薩福，
是誰又害了你？

“她這會兒可能會跑掉，但請放心，她很快會回頭追你的。
即使她兩手空空，她也會帶給你禮物。
即使她這會兒無動於衷，怎麽著，
她也會愛上你的。”

幹脆，這會兒就來吧，把我
從令人萎靡的迷戀中拯救出來，
滿足我靈魂的所有渴望。
來吧，做我的親密同誌。

（二）
Supremely blest, like a god, he seems to me,
That man who sits across from you,
And, moving close, gives in to your
Darling voice,

Your delightful laugh --- I swear, it
Makes my heart thump within my chest.
When I catch just a glimpse of you,
Words won’t come,

My tongue freezes, a subtle
Fire snakes beneath my skin,
There’s no sight in my eyes, my ears
Pound,

Sweat pours down, a shiver takes me
Entire, I’m paler than grass.
Not much more of this, I know,
And I’ll die.

那個男的真是至福之人啊！在我眼裏，
他簡直成了神。他坐在你對過兒，
卻耐不住你的柔聲細語，
挪著身子，一點一點靠近你，

你的笑聲是那麽令人愉快，我發誓，
聽著它，我的心快要跳到嗓子眼兒。
隻瞥你一眼，
我便說不出話來，

我的舌頭都僵住了，簡直是
欲火攻心，我眼睛睜著，
卻什麽也看不見，我的耳朵
隻聽到怦怦作響的心亂，

我汗如雨下，渾身戰栗，
麵色蒼白如紙。
我知道，這樣下去撐不了太久，
很快，我就會一命嗚呼。
