Little與small有何分別？

Little通常指小和可愛，往往帶有感情色彩，它的反義詞是great。例如：
a handy little calculator輕便的小計算器
a little girl一個可愛(或可憐) 的小女孩
a little house是指小巧玲瓏的房子
Stanley loved the feminine facial aspects of Beatrice, her soft clear skin, her large eyes, her little ears.
斯坦利喜歡阿特麗思女性氣質的臉質——她那軟軟的，幹幹淨淨的皮膚，大大的眼睛，和小巧的耳朵

Small是中性詞，不帶感情色彩，主要用來強調形體大小，它的反義詞是large。
例如：
a small girl一個年齡(或身材) 不大的女孩
a small house是指麵積(或容量) 不大的房子
此外；little和small在修飾某些名詞時，會產生不同的意思。例如：
little money是沒有多少錢
small money是麵額小的錢幣

Think of 和 think about 有何分別？

說「思念」或「對某人、某事的看法」，think of和think about可以通用，例如：
（1） What do you think of / about his proposal? （你對他的建議有甚麽意見？）
（2） He often thinks of / about his parents （他經常想念父母）。
但是，說「考慮」，一般用think about，例如：
I will think about the plan, and see if it is feasible （我會考慮這個計劃，看看可不可行）。
說「記起」、「有意（做某事）」和「想像」，則用think of，例如：
（1） I just can't think of her name （我就是記不起她的名字）。
（2） We are thinking of selling our home （我們有意把房子出售）。
以上是think of、think about的主要異同。

For example與such as的用法及區別

1)for example和such as都可當作“例如”解。但such as用來列舉事
物，插在被列舉事物與前麵的名詞之間。例如：
The farm grows various kinds of crops, such as wheat, corn, cotton and rice.
這個農場種植各種各樣的莊稼，例如麥子，玉米，棉花和稻米。

2)for example意為用來舉例說明，有時可作為獨立語，插在句中，不影
響句子其他部分的語法關係。例如：
A lot of people here, for example, Mr John, would rather have coffee.
這兒的許多人，例如約翰先生，寧願喝咖啡。

【注意】
(a)such as一般不宜與and so on連用。
(b)對前麵的複數名詞部分起列舉作用，一般不全部列出。故不可以說：
He knows four languages, such as Chinese, English, French and German. 應將such as改成
namely, 後麵加逗號。即：He knows four languages, namely, Chinese, English, French and
German.
