English Idioms

I heard a conversation today about a fight between two kids in a family. I felt these two kids are so cute and there are quite a few idioms in this short coversation too, so I type this as below in order to remember this idioms myself.

Nicole tells her mother about her successful presentation at school. Her brother Ted overhears and interrupts the conversation.
 
Mom:    How was your day at shool today, Nicole?
Nicole:  It was great!Mom.I give a presentation on Hillary Clinton in government class. Afterwards,my teacher paid me  a compliment.
Mom:    What did she say?
Nicole:  She said my presentation was head and shoulders above others.
Mon: Way to go!
Nicole:  She also said I should go into politics,just like Hillary.
Ted:      You're so gung ho about school. It drives me crazy!
Nicole:  Ted, don't butt'in! You're so jealous.
Ted:      Right, You hit the nail on the head. I'm green with envy.
Nicole:  Would you just shut up? You're on thin ice with me right now.
Ted:      Oh no! Look at me. I'm shaking in my shoes!
