很久沒有寫update了，越來越懶了。
寶寶上個星期有過發燒，不高，100F-102F，後來不燒了，我以為會有rashes或loose diaper。可是什麽都沒有。隔了一天，又再燒起來，帶她醫生那（哭得天都快塌下來了），醫生懷疑是strep或UTI。做了quick test for strep，negative result。the doctor told me to collect urine sample (to test UTI) if the fever continue the next day. no fever next day, only runny nose. called the doctor, she said the fever could be cold, and definately not UTI, since the fever is gone.
her weight taken at the urgent care center was 22lb. amazingly low for a about 22m toddler. i consulted the PD whether she has worm problem, the doctor said no worms unless cc ever left the states. now i have to wonder what makes her weight gain so difficult.
cc could talk very well now, full sentence in chinese, but not in english yet. but she still picks up words instantly.
she seems to have better memory. she could recall incidents happened weeks ago. she could talk about that incident, sometimes voluntarily, sometimes when being asked.
for some reasons, she is scared of touching plants, even flowers. i brought her to the botanic garden, she was very careful not to touch any of the plants. but she was very happy to see the bunny .
i could do some negotiations with her. she knows if she wants to go out, she should not cry. if she wants to flush, she has to pee or poo in the toilet. if she wants to have me sing her lullaby, she has to stop thumb sucking, etc.
potty training has been started. she has been on panties for 2 days. 3 accidents, she couldn't tell me b4 she goes, but she could quicky hold it when it was half way done. when she is sitting on the toilet, she would continue the business. i brought her out to the shop, she didn't have accident. she understand perfectly she should not wet the panties (she simply loves them and she is very proud to wear them). she is still wearing diapers at night, nap and when going out.
she could draw circle, straight line well now. sometimes she could do a triangle but with only two lines. she is very happy when she could do curlycue. she starts to "identify" objects she draws. she once told me she drawed a "m", which really looks like a "m".
she could sing now, "old mcdonald had a farm, e-i-e-i-o". when she is very happy playing with other kids, she would sing that sentence out loud, with some silly dancing. at the sametime, she is trying very hard to sing "ABC". i could identify "ABC", "PQR". she also very interested in "when you are happy, and you know it, clap your hands", i heard "happy....clap hands". sometimes she "sings" "the wheels on the bus" with hand gesture.
she loves the song "hush little baby" but she calls it "hush baby". this is the must song to hear during her bed time.
she still only knows 1 and 2. but she could count to 5, without the 2. she starts to show interest to her fingers. she knows each of them.
she starts to show preference to colour, she prefer yellow than pink. she only use her yellow toothbrush.
she is very fond of trains and trucks. she basically learn alphabets and numbers from train, by indentifying the train's name.
just started to teach her capital letter and small letter, she is confused.
teaching her opposites. not sure how she takes them but she seems to like books about opposites, esp the maisy book.
