Shadow

after bathing cc, i placed her on my bed and we started the regular battle of putting diaper and pjs on her.

she pointed to her shadow reflected on the nearby wall and started the communication. i was pretty tired and thinking how to avoid reading her books. i then pointed to her and my shadow and told her which was hers and mine. she turned back and smiled at me, as if she already knew.

em....did i ever tell her so?

i asked her to point to me which was her shadow. she did it. mommy\'s shadow? she did it again.

hoho...that was interesting.

i held her stuffed toy (小牛) and asked her where was 小牛\'s shadow. she did it.

i tried with a cordless phone, she did it again.

wowo....we have a smart baby here i thought.

then i held both the stuffed toy and phone, asked her to point which was 小牛\'s shadow....she hesitated....hoho, tricky ah....

she turned and looked me....started to study my face (as if the answer was written on it), then she pointed to the correct shadow....

wah!! a genius!!

but, wait, calm down....we don\'t meet a genius everyday. she must had sensed the answer from my face (perhaps my expression or eyes or whatever she picked up). but anyway, she loves this shadow game. i am teaching her to do the shadow by herself....hoho...time for her to do the entertainment.
