crazydog: do u still remember months ago, i told

one jm that babies only realize the baby they see in the mirror are themselves after 1yr old. i read that from book. u told us that your girl able to do that b4 i year old.

recently i notice my girl smiles whenever she is in front of the mirror. she is actually smiling to herself and me (our reflections), and she always turns her head to see me (real person). does that mean she understand that are just our reflections?

if not, how do we tell whether the baby understand that? thank you.
