最後的蘿卜

去年十月種的蘿卜，吃了很長時間了，今天是最後的一批留個紀念，看看這麽多：




還有前幾天收的這個，很有趣的形狀：


這可是咱家第一次收蘿卜，記得剛成型的時候還舍不得吃，光看看也高興。前年也種了不少，沒吃到蘿卜但是吃了很長時間的蘿卜櫻子，今年是蘿卜和蘿卜櫻子都吃到了，還有部分送人，這些蘿卜都是妻子管理的，吃來格外地香：


這周末把一堆廢棄木頭燒了，看看這火還真有點嚇人：

Green onion and chives (=garlic onion) are in the same class. They are very easy to plant and they are almost immune disease or animal/insects attacks. Best wishes to you!

Now we know who started all those wild forest fires. Haha!

I wish to have your wife's gardening skills. Those tunips look big and fresh. Must feel good to be able to eat what you grow, right? My 6 green onion (蔥）plants are back for the Spring. My next plan is to grow some chives (韭菜） since they may also immune to the frequent visitors such as deers and rabbits in our back yard. What do you think? Thanks.
