朋友家的小孩常要帶餅幹去幼兒園,這個應該不難,我決定試一試,因為我也喜歡這種餅幹,在孤狗裏找了一個"sugar cookie"的方子,見此帖的最後。
除了"vanilla extract"沒有,其它的都有或有替代的,第一次做出來是這樣的:
根據第一次的經驗,第二次很成功!小孩子很喜歡,改良後的方子和做法如下,原料有:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cups butter flavored shortening
1/2 cups sugar
1/6 cups milk
我喜歡上麵的這種shortening口感味道更好(第一次是用的butter,有點偏軟),不過可以混合這兩種,注意butter和shortening的總量是半杯(一條),加糖半杯用攪拌器混合:
麵粉和泡打粉混勻後加入(不要用蘇打,會有堿味),然後倒入適量牛奶攪拌稀釋:
把烤箱預熱放390度,不要用手因為麵裏有糖很粘的,用小勺弄成小球放在烤餅幹的烤盤上:
然後手上沾點水(不粘手),把小球壓扁一點,壓扁和沾水的目的是放裝飾的糖:
我的烤箱溫度較低或者麵較稀,我烤了十五分鍾:
第二天去爬梯,這第二次做的餅幹很快就被小孩吃完了,最後隻剩了幾個第一次做的(左上):

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 to 4 tablespoons buttermilk
Sprinkles or colored sugar, for decorating
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in dry ingredients. Add enough of the buttermilk to moisten the dough and make it soft, not wet.
Roll rounded teaspoons of dough into balls and place on a ungreased cookie sheet. With a brush or fingers, moisten the top of each cookie with the remaining buttermilk and slightly flatten the top of each cookie. Sprinkle with raw sugar or colored sprinkles.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly golden. Let stand for 2 minutes before removing to cool on a rack.
