草地人餐廳 (Wan Chun Taiwanese Food  819 W. Las Tunas Dr. San Gabriel, CA 91776, 626-284-6031)

在這家餐廳吃飯中途看到另一家餐廳的女侍者跑來借咖哩粉。問了一會兒,廚房說沒有。此餐廳的老闆娘就拎者小碗幫女侍到另一家餐廳去借。過一會,老闆娘空手而歸。這時,老闆又去廚房內翻了一下,然後找出一包黃色的調味料交與那女侍帶走。因為是用晚餐的時刻,所以這個總共有8 張桌子的小餐廳人來人往,上菜下菜,老闆很忙,但仍然幫了忙。

草地人經營超過11年了,食物以台灣小吃為主,但是47 道特價晚餐的菜色也包含多種大江南北的好菜。從雪菜毛豆百頁,香乾豆絲,家常牛肉絲〈稍鹹〉都夠味。他們自製香腸炒出的幾道菜很有鄉土味,像是好友媽媽做的。去吃兩次,一次喝到美味的黑米粥甜湯,一次是品嚐到綠豆甜湯,都是附送的。點的一客臭豆腐乍嚐之下並不特別,但是到家後打嗝則震退犬兒3尺。還好有隔一夜的消味過渡時期。

老闆喜歡與人客聊天,聽著他們的對話與笑聲頗舒服。這家餐廳的老客人不少,相信新的客人也會陸陸續續的成為老客人。

First, they always out of the items that are listed on the menu. every time i went, 1 out of 2 item were not available.
Second, the service is very awful. One time, i ordered dry noodle, and the waitress broght me a soup noodle. when i told her that she gave me wrong item, she told me the soup noodle is better. she had no intention of apoligize and bring the wrong item back. instead, she kept on pushing the wrong item to me until i told her that "No, i want my dry noodle", then she finally exchanged the dry noodle for me.
Finally, they cheat on the bill and it is always customers fault not theirs. The last time i went there, i ordered something togo for $6.50 plus tax which should be $7.03. the owner lady charged me $7.60. when i told her the price might be wrong, she told me "you should include tax" and refused to recalculate. after i got my order, i told her again that the price was wrong. she then recalculated and gave me back 50 cents, still short of 7 cents. then she started to nag that "you are too smart", "next time you come, i will charge you double", "you even fight over few cents". i guess she thought all the customers are stupid and will just pay whatever amount she ask and her hobby of over charging the customer will never get caught. she made it like it was my fault that i caught that... when i was stepping out the door, she even said "i will not sell to you next time" on my back. i can't believe it!! she really think that all the customer should pay her extra money. please let me know if you think that it was my fault to tell her she calculated wrong. they only take cash and i am sure that they don't pay sales tax to the government. on top of that, they charge customers tax. so the tax that customers pay will be added to their tax free profit. no wonder this place will never grow. what a dishonor, shameless, and greedy people.

the person on the top, please admit that the owners and workers there don't really know how to do business and how to treat customers, and they don't CARE about customers.
