The market is oversold

and we may get a bounce soon. But we haven\'t seen the bottom yet. The technicals of the market look very poor. This correction may turn into the beginning of a new bear market. On Aug 16, when some of the technical indicators I watched reached extremely bearish levels, I knew the bottom was close. But this time, the market is still several nasty sell-offs away from that level. So rallies in the next several days should be used a selling opportunity.

I\'m still positive YTD. But my paper profits are rapidly evaporating. It\'s very painful to hold stocks and mutual funds through such corrections. However, timimg the market is difficult, and often leads to underperformance. So I will raise more cash, but won\'t liquidate my entire portfolio.
