Architecture View of the System

Overview:
Google is very successful for what they are doing. The real question many online business operators have is what they have done to be such a successful company. They have just harness some searching technologies, data mining on the World Wide Web and provide public with their searching results. This was the first step! Then the company transforms itself into a giant advertising tycoon using its popularity.

 The big picture is shown:

• Researching and developing tools to collect data from WWW;
• Providing service to gain popularity;
• Making profit for advertising.

 What about wikipedia.org, apache.org or even wenxuecity.com? From my point of view, they are all very successful. The reason is the driving force behind the scene. These projects are all community driven. So we have found another factor for success.

 OMG, I have talked too much, let us go back to the topic.

 This system extracts movie information, its sample and torrent from a variety of web sites, composes to a user-friendly format and publishes to http://ezymuveeinfo.blogspot.com. The purpose of the project is to measure the efficacy, timeframe of Google service promotion methodology. By promoting sample videos with a variety of keyword combination into YouTube service, different test scenario will be conducted and reported. Base on the result of this research project, I hope a new Online Business Model can be formed and people who involves in this project can be benefitted from this research. I am currently short of resources in java and VBA programming; torrent info editing, business modeling and testing, therefore, any volunteer with knowledge in these areas are most WELCOME!

 Architecture:

Phase one of the project involves:

• Indentifying movie info, torrent web sites with RSS capabilities;
• Defining target content of the resources;
• Developing extracting tools using Excel/VBA web query;
• Extracting RSS sources (xml format);
• Store the defined content into data repository (either excel file or database);
• Study and define promotion key words;
• Developing tools to modify torrent file for automatic downloading;
• Scheduling and downloading movie sample;
• Developing tools for video editing sample movies with the promoting key words;
• Developing tools for uploading sample movies to YouTube and retrieve embedded object link, update the link into data repository;
• Developing tools for web content edit including movie info, torrent source, YouTube sample link;
• Developing tools for uploading composed web content to web gateway;
• Integrating and implementing the system;
• Monitoring and study the web traffic and refine key words
