Gaither 樂團在演唱詩歌時，在紮實的聲樂技巧裡，融合了一些鄉村、Bluegrass的特色，他們以家庭團聚的方式帶領會眾一齊唱詩，在美國受到很多人的歡迎。

許多年前，我曾到美國南部的農村作客，星期天特別到當地的教會去參加禮拜。當我聽到這類的詩班唱歌時，就深深地喜歡上了他們。
