The Day the Blizzard Came by 8hei

Today was a snow day
I would shout hooray
But it turned out to be a blizzard
To much even for a lizard
Anyway, lizards don't like it cold
Anyway, I was so bold
To take mommy out in the snow
The snow was too hard to plow

So we walked home
Our faces were red, like red pizza bread
I blocked the snow with a piece
That was as hard as dough
Mom fell and she had to be sold
But she got up and finished my sup
When in the door we went, from that cold cold day
And now we can shout ----
Hooray, hooray!!!
