Ana's ex-sister-in-law's daughter told me about "la feria" or the fair in Recoleta, so I decided to check that out with some people today. Diamond and I met up around noon, and people started trickling in after us. We walked around to all the stands (SOO MANY) before we bought anything. I took some pictures of some of the cool-looking ones. I tried my bargaining skills at one stand and failed miserably. Diamond told me that I was doing it all wrong, and that I should probably be more into it next time. The man in the picture made a comparison to "The Lord of the Rings" when talking to Diamond. He said they were like the talking trees in the movie.
I got a lot of my gifts here - everything looks so unique and one-of-a kind.While Diamond and I waited for the others to arrive, we went into "el centro cultural", a
building right outside the feria showcasing art (although it was mostly comic art). Here, one woman is sitting in front of a drawing that says "Primitiva, Magica, y Moderna".
