idea is very important

A few days ago I had an idea to write a discussion paper when I read a journal paper related to my own research, i finally finished the first version today. Although it is not long, it does take time and i found that to have a general idea first is so important that can determine whether i can do it or not. I come up a few other ideas of possible papers, and still waiting for further considerations before actually start writing.
