似乎總覺得她的夏日最後玫瑰還有提高的餘地。
After listening again, I still prefer George Enescu or Szeryng's interpretation of Bach.
*** this is another copy of my reply from KD***
Josh looked a bit "terrified" as he said at the beginning of the program, regardless he sang quite impressively. I'm going to collect some of his albums .
I will have to listen to Hilary's Bach again to get a better feel of it.
I enjoyed the concert very much and thought that they both are very good young musicians and entertainers! Who on earth cannot like their smiling and happy faces. Also I liked their American style of talking and joking besides performing!
Haven't paid any attention to Josh until now but to my surprise his singing had a such natural and warm tone and I happened to like many of the songs he sang. Funny that he sang these folk songs in suits and tie - must have felt very uncomfortable in such costume.
Hilary's violin performance, comparing to her counterpart, was a little flat , and failed to inspired me for the most part, except for the "Caprice for violin op.26" and the Paganini violin/guitar.
Overall it is worth watching and thank you very much for sharing!
