losing home in America

I am shocked when I see the news in Yahoo video.

the family of seven with 5 children live in SUV because they lose home in recent subprime woes.
They finally got a police attention and raise enough money

In my mind, homeless is always associated with shabby and dirty hair and people with mental illness
in the streets.  But this guy is totally looking decent and very nice man.  They faced the fact is they lose home.

In my memory, it is great depression in 30s.  On the country road, farmer lose their land and ride family go to
California to a better life.

What a life experience when immigrate in my life.
