Bette Greenfield, 71, holds statements from her investments with Bernard Madoff at her home in Deerfield Beach, Florida December 18, 2008. Greenfield said she and her family lost $300,000. which was invested by Madoff, who is accused of masterminding a Ponzi scheme of epic proportions through his investment advisory business. Greenfield is now left with social security and a small IRA and is planning to turn her hobby of jewellery making into a business.
