control risk on futures ---- covered call futures option

Q   when I buy a stock, I can write or sell covered calls (shares hold for assignement give anytime) for some protection.

      Have you tried similar approach with future options? I have never done that.

During these big down days the market tries to bounce back a little around 3:30 pm. I feel it's too stressful to short ER2 / ES during the session.

A   I do, almost all my postions r tied to each other...
