We are seeking a legal assistant for our New York Office and one for Houston Office. This clerk shall assume the following responsibilities: • Contact clients, gather information and documents, and prepare application forms. • Draft correspondence, and prepare all necessary documents for applications. • Coordinate and monitor the status of cases. • Manage CRM files as well as physical files. Qualified candidate shall possess the following: • JD or LLM degree from an accredited Law School; • Excellent academic credentials, client service skills and superior written and oral communication skills and • Be able to work effectively as a team member to meet deadlines. • Prior legal experience is not required; • May be promoted to an attorney after he/she passes bar exam in a state and his/her job performance (as an assistant) exceeds management’s expectations.
