Ah, the globalization! If you are paying some attention to your surroundings lately, you would have no difficulties to notice: The hierarchical systems of societies in our world have altered significantly through global competition and wide spreading usage of internet. Such reorg has touched almost every aspect of our lives, and possibly every corners of landscapes, even once the sacred ones, whether it’s economic, social, political even the realm that’s been considered as canonical, and well-established strongholds – race and dominance.
Not too long ago, Caucasian males from England and in America ruled Investment Banking sector,and the aura of NBA was almost fully eclipsed by African American players. But such well-known predomination has started changing, slowly and surely. Much of this phenomenal shift is a result of intensive globalization in terms of intellectual resources. Now, people realize that it is entire possible for the true human capitals which really make an entity to lead and shine can come actually from any ethnic group and from any country in this world.
To many Asians and especially Chinese, such revision, reshape and redistribution in a new global era may present some great opportunities for a life time, making many doors that previously considered closed to them ajar. It is safe to say that as the world continue to revolve each day in the swirl of globalization, people will feel much more comfortable to see, in not far future, a burst of world renown athletes, statesmen, composers, playwrights, authors, singers and songwriters … with Asian heritages and flairs.
