On a flowery island of Sicily
There lived four sirens
Aglaophonos, Thelxepeia, Peisino and Molpe
Their eyes were bright like stars in the sky
Their hair was dark and silky
They had wings so wide
But they were not allowed to leave the island
Years and years
The sisters grew
Their beauty was never seen.
Sadly, the sisters sang their songs
Waiting for men to hear
Their voices were enchanting
Musically pouring out their sorrows
Heavenly telling their desire
Years and years
Sailors dived into the sea
But could never make to the shore
From near and far
Women were afraid of losing their men
Men were curious, but also scared to death
The sad sisters were still waiting
For men to reach their land
Years and years
Braves couldn’t pass
The Sirens continued their singing
