Sunday, a cool and sunny day, sky was high, clouds were bright and wind was tender.
We(Connie and three of us) originally thought about going to International Ballon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, but could not rent a car (surprising, isn't?). Car renting was so hot may be because on weekends in August, everyone wants to grasp the tail of summer in Montreal to enjoy outdoor funs.
Then, it ended up with that we went to McGill Campus (once again. We were there Saturday for taking pics with Ellen couple after wedding ceremony) and climbed Royal Mountain. We even rowed a boat in the lake there for half hour. 30 mins were not long time, but you must still remember how small the lake is. Not sure about all of you, for me, it really has been long long time since the last time I had some similar fun.
RR was great, finishing entire hiking by himself and we never carried him. My Mom was great as well, even she had to have a rest on the way back, but she could recovered soon and has no problem today. The only problem was RR was so hungry that he kept begging for something to eat. Since mountain climbing was an unplanned event so that I did not bring anything for him to eat (our plan was only taking photos in McGill Campus, however, once again, I took a camera with a battery that had used up. How careless I am!)
Due to being starving, he could eat half of grandma's plate of fried rice and one third of my bowl of rice noodle soup. A very funny thing was that one of the chefs recognized RR no long after we entering the restaurant because RR used to throw a basketball on him when he was chatting with a friend and RR was playing ball with grandma in the park nearby on Monk street.
Finishing eating at about 9pm, we returned home at cool and fresh night with excitement. What a lovely Sunday!
