My daughter got summer internship offers from JP Morgan for Wealth Management and a small investment banking firm specializing in retail merger and acquisition. She has been looking not the space and company about a year for the first one. The later is getting her much more interested during this applying season. She does see long term in IB while the work and environment appears challenging. In general, she likes to work with people.
