周日晚間打開電視時，已經很晚，電影金球獎發獎儀式隻看了個尾巴，知道最佳影片是SlumdogMillionaire，最佳男演員是MickeyRourke。這兩項獲獎者應該說都屬於underdogs之列，評選結果也許會讓許多人跌破眼鏡。MickeyRourkenow但真正讓我感到驚訝的是看到多年久違了的MickeyRourke，尤其是他外形方麵的變化，讓人不敢相信眼前這個標本式的wrestler形象，就是多年以前與KimBasinger合演91/2Wee[閱讀全文]

上次貼了梁實秋的《臉譜》後，胡渙在comments中推薦了下麵魯迅的這篇文章。同樣是臉蛋兒研究，魯迅的這一篇另辟蹊徑，與梁實秋的approach有所不同。放在這兒，與梁實秋的那篇《臉譜》相呼應。

我覺得我們中國人的喉嚨之大，在全世界，可稱首屈一指。無論是開會發言，客座談話，商店交易，或其他公眾的地方，說話的聲音時常是尖而且銳，聲量是洪而且寬，耳膜脆弱一點的人，往往覺得支持不住。我們的華僑在外國，談起話來，時常被外國人稱做“吵鬧的勾當”（Noisybusiness），我以為是良有以也。
