有時候，仿佛在冥冥之中，你就被connect to something that you used to be so much into，卻又似乎離現在很遙遠。於是你一下子被拉入過去，帶著那種曾經的感覺，和些許被時間刻劃後的不一樣。

這次對我，是Richard Marx。那個曾經讓我如此心動的歌手。而這麽十來年，我卻幾乎沒有聽他的歌，甚至想到他。昨天和兒子出去，聊天的時候，突然提到他，說我是多麽地喜歡他，那首"Right Here Waiting"甚至被我唱給兒子作催眠曲。更奇的是，今天晚上，我們在家裏坐著各看各的電腦，惡霸阿德在youtube上隨意找歌，不經意地說，”嘿，這裏有首歌，是你的偶像唱的，記得你以前好喜歡！“然後放給我聽，又是那首"Right Here Waiting"!

時光仿佛就這麽回到十幾年前了。我和惡霸還被大洋隔開，就像歌詞oceans apart, day after day... 

Richard Marx, 那個撥動我心弦的歌喉和音樂。這是他80年代剛出名時的樣子。還記得他在mv裏麵深情地彈著鋼琴唱那首歌的樣子，看他那80年代的big hair, :)


他的深情和真誠的演繹，總是那麽打動我。他的嗓音有點那種很sexy的沙聲。他的"Now and Forever", 也是當年的hit。Richard Marx，除了好幾個hit外，還是個很成功的音樂人，並且和"Dirty Dancing"的角色扮演者Cynthia Rohde結婚已20餘載, 妻子嫁給他後就退休專心養育他們的孩子。他的音樂在分類上是pop和classic rock。

除了人人皆知的Right Here Waiting，這首"Now and Forever”也是當年的大hit。今天翻出來聽，濕了眼角。
