Sorry, have not figured out Chinsese typing with my new computer ......

Last year, we were in the same shoes, and we got a lot of advices from this forum. Very grateful to all the inputs.

I would like to share our experiences with families in the similar situation for this year to pay back the love we received from this community.

DD was REA deferred. 

During the winter break, she applied to many colleges, 2 per day.

It was a long journey.  She was rejected by colleges, left and right, almost every week until the end.

She was rejected/WL by our own dear state colleges one after another.

She was rejected/WL by the safe private colleges.

She did finally get into her dream college.   All the work during the winter break did not pan out. ;(.

Lessons learned

1) Safe colleges may not be safe

2) State colleges may not be safe

At this point, the only thing which could be easily improved is probably the essay.  NiuBull son's profile is strong. Think about how he could help the society.   Best wishes!
