吾讀古書留意到此二字有區別時(有時無區別)，其一在於：吾指自己，我指位置。

例如，我國、我軍，均指我方的。方即"位", position 是也。

吾國、吾軍、吾民，則是"我自己的"，充滿個人感情。Personal 是也。

Indicating position is an important function and implement of language. As I see it, the term "my god" isn't that clear, for, for a traditional Chinese reader, it could mean 吾所宗愛之神 or 我方信仰之神.
