《夜雨寄北》    A letter to wife in raining night

君問歸期未有期，  I don’t know the date while you ask me when I could return.

巴山夜雨漲秋池。 The pond in front of my window is brimming in this raining night in Ba mountain.

何當共剪西窗燭， When could we trim the candle wicks together in night under our western window?　　

卻話巴山夜雨時。 And tell each other what  you had been doing in that night when it was raining in Ba mountain.
