"for you the WRITER, not the Christian"

No need to torment oneself reading through the whole book to tell the quality of its author.

No need to eat the whole dish to tell the food is bad.

You are a terrible writer, so terrible that your readers will think you are arrogant and stupid. That way they will distrust whatever you say.

So, try to be a proper writer first before you try to be a proper writer for Christianity. Otherwise you are doing a disservice  to your God. He will be very unhappy about you. (My ice water advice).
