Lin is in the beginning of his prime

Lin should not waste his time with the Lakers. Kobe will return for another year which will stun Lin's growth. Then the Lakers will be in full rebuilding mode.

Lin needs to go to a team that is on the cusp of stardom. This team is the Sacramento Kings. This team's style match Lin's skill set. Lin, Gay, and Cousins will propel the Kings into the play off. Lin is 26, Gay is 28, and Cousins is 24. They will all be in their prime. This core unit will the new version of Bibby, Predrag, and Cwebb. Bibby was the sharp shooting savvy floor general who was weak on defense just like Lin.  Predrag was the sharp shooting small forward from Yugoslav (Gay is a good shooter and plays small forward). Chris Webber had bad temper during his younger days just like Cousins was. Cwebb was a rebounding machine and a low post presence. Cousins is a rebounding machine and a low post presence. Similarities are definitely there. All they need are guys like Divac/Brad Miller and Doug Christie. This team will be a title contender.

Can you imagine all those Bay Area Asian folks having tailgate parties in front of the Sleep Train Arena.
