sigh, some words I want to say long time ago.

He lost his confidence. My guess is: he underestimate the toughness of nba. One player, like Lin, can play really really good for one week, two weeks or three months. Then he will be carefully studied/examined and then the defense on him will be very efficiently against him, because it will be designed by experts. One will have to improve to the next level to defeat it. That is how a super star grows up. He wasted too much time w/o improving or improved too slow. Gradually it is not surprising his confidence is lost. Hopefully he can still find fun from b-ball and gain his confidence back.
