well boozer had better stats

and he was also benched. whatever lin did, it wasn't enough. his good games were good, but not game-changingly good. but when he plays poorly, it was conspicuously bad. he did not establish himself as someone to rely on when things go rough. the biggest problem though is he couldn't keep his mouth shut, and seemed to unconsciously play coach. maybe that's how he did it in highschool and harvard, but certainly unwise here. maybe the system has glaring problems and everyone knows it, but it's not for him to fix it voluntarily. he should just ride the wagon as everybody else, and not jump to the front seat to give the driver advice.

it's different from houston. mchale was never high on lin, he and especially that asst coach sampson would seek every opportunity to bench lin. but in la, lin had a fair bit of chance to redeem himself, but he kind of squandered it by acting out of role. maybe i'm too harsh on lin, but i just hope he realize it's his own career he was playing for, not for any team, not for anybody else.
